Dr. Michelle A. Rivera is a board certified dermatologist whose private practice is situated on the campus of Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia outside Washington, DC.
Understanding that medical and aesthetic concerns are interlaced in each patient, Dr. Rivera’s goal is to evaluate the patient’s skin and put together a treatment program that will integrate both medical and aesthetic services.
After graduating from Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Dr. Rivera went on to complete a three year residency in pediatrics at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. This was followed by fellowship training in dermatology at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. With an enduring commitment to academic excellence, Dr. Rivera is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Since 1993, Dr. Rivera has been regularly listed as one of the top dermatologists in the Washingtonian Magazine. Her clinical expertise and extensive training in a number of advanced medical and aesthetic procedures allows Dr. Rivera to offer a broad array of cosmetic medical enhancement services.
